In the event of a team being unable to field five players, once they have agreed a fixture as per rule 1, the match should proceed with each team fielding four players.  The team who could not field a fifth player will concede 30 points.  The handicap, as allocated by the Committee, will remain the same.  If a team cannot field at least four players they will be disqualified.  A team will only be allowed to field four players on one occasion.  If the situation occurs again, for whatever reason, the team will automatically be disqualified.
