York & District Ladies Squash League

York and District Ladies Squash League run an “Achievement Award” throughout the season. 

All players are automatically entered the first time they play in a match and points accumulate throughout the season. All players receive 1 point for playing and further points are awarded depending on the result. Points are awarded as follows: 

A player who wins their match 3-0 receives 6 points overall;

A player who wins their match 3-1 receives 5 points overall;

A player who wins their match 3-2 receives 4 points overall;

A player who loses their match 2-3 receives 3 points overall;

A player who loses their match 1-3 receives 2 points overall;

A player who loses their match 0-3 receives 1 point overall 

At the end of the season the top two players, in each division, with the most points receive a prize, which is awarded at our Presentation Evening.  

The webpage will be regularly updated to show the number of points each player is accumulating throughout the season.
